Information and updates about Tabrett - new agency and confirmed birthday

Tabrett has confirmed that her birthday is on May 13 in the interview. Though she's also posted a picture of her birthday cake on Instagram in May (, but it's better to be sure.

Tabrett has a new agency now, Industry Entertainment Productions, her agent is Kim Callahan. She's still with RGM  in Australia. But it looks like she's left RoK Models.

Oren - Tabrett's new short film, funded by the fans, written and directed by Tahyna Tozzi!

Let me start by saying how proud I am of every Tabrett Bethell fan who has contributed to make this film a reality. A huge Thank You to everybody!

The story of Oren follows a young woman, Emile’s suffering after a tragic loss and her unexpected road to recovery through a special encounter she has with a homeless man, named “Oren.” Emile is in the deepest, darkest place of the human condition, and the story follows how her life is forever changed through these encounters.

Written and directed by: Tahyna Tozzi-MacManus
Starring: Tabrett Bethell
Also appearing: Trilby Glover, Tristan MacManus
Executive Producer: Kai lillie
Produced by: Kai Lillie
Cinematographer: Larkin Donley
Editor: Nicholas Monsour
Production Design: Govind Rae
Art Director: Dustin Wright

The film had to be cut down to 15 minutes because that's the limit for most film festivals. Tristan MacManus will appear in it too.

There has been a lot of promotion for the movie already, here's a list of things you should check out:

- Interviews on LA Talk Radio with Andy Steinhauser:

- Photoshoot by Gemma Pranita: &

Tahyna and Tabrett have a friendship that spans over a decade after meeting on the set of a modeling job. Now both artists of the film world, they are embarking on a creative journey together on a short film entitled 'OREN'. Written and Directed by Tahyna, the film follows the character EMILE and her curious encounter with a homeless man named OREN. OREN becomes an accidental oracle and EMILE'S life is forever changed.
Show these guys some love! Help them reach their goal and back this wonderful project.

- A story of overcoming - article on Your Zen Life by Tahyna about her process in creating Oren

"What does one do with all these ideas swimming around her head? What do you do to take back your power after every door has closed and you have heard your final “no”. Well this girl threw herself into the deep end. I took back my creative power and I took back my inspiration. I wrote a film called OREN.
I, Tahyna Tozzi (now Tahyna Tozzi-MacManus), have been what I like to call a “story-teller” my entire life."

- Updates about Oren on Tahyna's husband's fan page:

"Tab is awesome - she works so hard at delivering truthful performances. I have no doubt in my mind she will be a huge movie star! Well she already is!! I am glad I get the chance to work with her. I have known Tabrett since I was was 12 years old – whoa, that’s going back! We were both so young! I did a modeling campaign with her for Billabong surf wear.  I am pretty sure I just stared at how beautiful she was, and she was probably like “Who is this creepy kid?” haha! She may even still be thinking it -haha- but she still loves taking risks with me creatively. I am so lucky for that. I am still blown away by her performance in our teaser alone. I got goosebumps as soon as she appeared on screen."

Tabrett had a guest starring spot in Mistresses, with fellow Aussie, Brett Tucker

The episode's title is "What Do You Really Want?", it's the sixth episode of season 2. Tabrett plays Kate, the sister of Brett Tucker's character. He was in Legend of the Seeker too, in Perdition, he played the new Seeker in Richard's nightmare. You might also know Brett from one of his guest starring spots in American tv shows, or from McLeod's Daughters, the very popular Aussie show, he played the vet for a couple of seasons.

Tabrett shot the episode in April. Here's her Twitter post about it:

2014 April 5 - "Hard day in the office working with the super talented Brett Tucker #harry on #Mistresses #ABC #lovemyjob" interview with Tabrett

An interesting, touching and lengthy interview, with details about how Tabrett got to play Cara, her experience shooting Dhoom 3, about actors' unions, her passion for acting, about Poe, and how much she appreciates the fans' support. :)

"I adore the fans. They are so loyal and supportive. I remember receiving a beautiful gift box at the end of season two. It was this huge handmade leather bound book with fan letters, songs, poems and photos of fans from all around the world giving support for Cara and myself. I remember sitting in my agency at RGM and opening this tremendous gift. I was so overwhelmed. I went through a massive personal journey during that show and to receive such a heartfelt gift from people all around the world was so incredible. I didn’t know that kind of stuff actually happened and I was so humbled that my character had touched so many hearts. It overwhelms me to do this day."
