Tabrett didn't win Fangoria's Chainsaw Award

I’m sad to announce that Tabrett Bethell did not win Fangoria’s Chainsaw Award in the Best Actress category. :( She finished 4th, Rose Byrne received the most votes, Pollyanna McIntosh finished second.

There's a buzz about The Clinic's release in the US, and a new trailer has arrived!

Four major American horror sites and one from Canada is reporting about the film's release on August 9 in North America.

Bloody Disgusting, Dread Central, Fangoria, Shock Till You Drop and HorrorMovies.ca all have some nice things to say about The Clinic, and BD has a review from last year's Screamfest, with some spoilers.

Image Entertainment is releasing the film in the US and Canada, you can read about both the Rated and the Un-Rated version on their site. The first one is 2 minutes shorter, both have English and Spanish subtitles, still no news about bonus content.

The Clinic - music videos from the fans

I think every Legend of the Seeker fan was waiting to see what some of the talented people would do with the film once they had access to it. I'm happy to say there are already a couple of really awesome videos on YouTube! I'll keep updating this post, you'll just have to check the link on the left to see if there's anything new.

A German site lists the BluRay version of The Clinic for sale and the planned release date is May 12! Thanks to Andrea Melissa for finding this!

Wow, I think this is really good news, grabbing a distributor like Paramount! From the film's Facebook page:

Let's hope an international release won't be far behind either! Or that we'll be able to order it from other countries too.

Now, some good news. I might be able to post more details about the DVD soon, fingers crossed. And the team behind the film is working on releasing the DVD in other territories as well, hope fully they'll be successful. I guess the screening in Santa Monica will be very important.
